USA (Commonwealth Union)_ Raj Subramaniam, the President and CEO of FedEx Corporation, is poised to receive the prestigious 2023 Pinnacle Award at the forthcoming 2023 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award ceremony. Conferred by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC), this annual event serves as a platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Asian American executives and leaders who have made substantial contributions to their respective industries. Scheduled for September, the ceremony will not only honor Subramaniam but also recognize 50 other distinguished Asian American executives who have exhibited exceptional leadership and excellence in their careers.

The Pinnacle Award, the top distinction presented at this event, reflects Subramaniam’s remarkable journey and his outstanding accomplishments. Earlier this year, he was also honored with the 2023 Horatio Alger Award, a prestigious accolade reserved for individuals who have battled adversity to achieve both professional and personal success. Subramaniam’s story began in 1987, when he immigrated to the United States to pursue a master’s degree in chemical engineering at Syracuse University. In 1991, he furthered his education, earning a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Subsequently, he embarked on his illustrious career at FedEx, beginning as an associate analyst in the same year.
