The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 is a creation of Piccadilly Distilleries, a company renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality and innovative expertise within the whisky realm. The whisky was honored with the esteemed ‘Double Gold Best In Show’ designation, an affirmation of its exceptional quality and character. Piccadilly Distilleries shared the news on Instagram, celebrating this achievement and inviting enthusiasts to partake in the Diwali festivities with a dram of this limited collector’s edition.

Following the global recognition, the company took to Instagram and shared the following post: “From smoky whispers to a symphony of flavors, it’s a masterpiece that’s now reached the pinnacle of recognition with the ‘Best in Show, Double Gold’ award at the Whiskies of the World Awards 2023. This Diwali, let the celebration begin with a dram of this limited Diwali collector’s edition”. Crafted amidst the serene Himalayan foothills, this award-winning whisky is meticulously produced using handpicked six-row barley from Rajasthan and pristine glacier water sourced from the Yamuna River. It then undergoes aging in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks, resulting in a rich, dark amber hue and a medley of sweet, currant-like flavor notes.

The Whiskies of the World Awards, a yearly event that gathers influential figures from the beverage industry, subject over 100 whisky varieties to blind-tasting and evaluation based on a 100-point scale, with a focus on characteristics such as aromatics, flavor profile, and finish.
