Those ready to embark on a movie marathon will be able to choose from over 50 new releases, including The Covenant, Paint and  Love Again as well as a range of exclusive content through its Paramount+ partnership, such as The Flatshare and Grease: Rise of The Pink Ladies, Rabbit Hole: The Algorithms of Control, while Movie boxsets include Indiana Jones and Mission Impossible and the complete Harry Potter series, allowing customers to binge-watch much-loved blockbuster content from the comfort of their seat on their British Airways flight.

Music lovers can settle in and listen to over 770 pieces of audio, including  Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo starring in the popular NewlyWeds podcast. For customers opting for some light-hearted comedy, the airline has a wide range of British Original content, which includes highlights from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022, such as Just for Laughs, The Fringe, and Fame and Me.

British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, said that they knew just how important it was to provide a great range of entertainment for their customers to enjoy during their journeys, which is one of the things they look forward to most when they fly with them, and therefore they have been working hard to source new content, in the process doubling the amount available at their passengers’ fingertips.  They have partnered with brilliant brands such as Paramount+ and even created a dedicated British Original channel.   There is something for everyone to enjoy during their flight this summer from a newly released blockbuster film to the latest podcast.

Families travelling during August have the option to choose from a variety of content perfect for little ones, with over 26 Kid’s Classics, such as Paw Patrol, Scoob! and Peppa Pig. The airline has even added 20 programmes, and a brand-new Lego category as well as The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Trolls, to the new ‘Summer Fun’ category, perfect for breaking up a long journey.

Customers who wish to stream content on their personal devices will also be able to take advantage of the airline’s WiFi connectivity with the various packages available, which include options of messaging, ‘browse and stream’. The majority of the airline’s aircraft are now connected and they are progressively rolling out WiFi across both its long and short-haul fleets.
