JACINDA ARDERN
Jacinda Ardern has been serving as New Zealand’s Prime Minister since 2017. She is New Zealand’s 40th Prime Minister, and she has served as the Labor Party’s leader since 2017. In 2008, she was elected to the House of Representatives as a list member and has served as an MP since 2017.
NIRMALA SITHARAMAN
Nirmala Sitharaman is one of the powerful women in Indian politics. She is an economist and politician in India as well as now serving as Finance Minister. She has been a Rajya Sabha member since 2014. Previously, she served as Defense Minister, becoming the second woman to hold the position after Indira Gandhi.
KAMALA HARRIS
Kamala Harris is an Indian-American politician and attorney who is the present and 49th Vice President of the United States of America. She holds numerous credits to her name following her victory in the 2021 presidential election. She became the first woman, Black, and Indian-American vice president in the history of America. She is also the country’s first African-American and Asian-American Vice President.
SANNA MARIN
Sanna Marin is a Finnish politician who served as the country’s 46th Prime Minister and is the current PM since December 2019. She is a member of the Social Democratic Party, where she was elected as the leader in 2020. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Finnish Parliament. Sanna was elected as the Prime Minister of Finland following Antti Rinne’s resignation in the aftermath of the postal strike in 2019.
JEWEL TAYLOR
The Vice President of Liberia is Jewel Taylor. She was previously married to former President Charles Taylor for a while before divorcing him. She served as Liberia’s First Lady throughout his reign. In 2005, she was elected to the Liberia Senate from Bong County as a member of the National Patriotic Party.
