Mumbai, India (CU)_ The trailer of the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo was launched in Mumbai by Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Karan Johar, Maniesh Paul, and the film’s director Raj Mehta. Following the launch, the team had discussions with the media, and everyone was keen on Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s marriage and settling down plans.
When a journalist attempted to ask Kiara a question about settling down, the film’s producer, Karan, interrupted and said, “Meri shaadi ke baare mein aapne kuchh nahi poocha, main 50 ka hone ja raha hoon. Aapko kya lagta hai main shaadi ke kabil nahi hoon? Bhaiya, hum bhi shaadi kar sakte hain (You didn’t ask me about my marriage, I’m going to turn 50. Do you think I can’t get married? Let me tell you, I can get married, too).”
Varun Dhawan also reacted humorously to the query saying, ‘Tere maa baap aayenge, tera rishta leke, (your parents will come asking for Kiara’s hand in marriage). Everyone present there was left in fits of laughter by Karan’s humor. When the reporter accepted and commented that Karan was “multitalented,” Karan responded with another witty comment. He said, “Shaadi koi talent nahi majboori hoti hai (Getting married doesn’t require talent; it’s a compulsion).” Obviously, the audience erupted in another bout of laughter.
Finally, the journalist shot out his question to Kiara regarding her marriage plans, to which she boldly responded by saying that she did not require the marriage tag. She said, “Bina shaadi kiye bhi main well-settled ho sakti hoon right? Main well-settled hoon, main kaam kar rahi hoon, kama Rahi hoon, khush hoon (I can be well-settled without getting married, too. I am well-settled, working, earning, and I am happy).”
Recent rumors suggested that Kiara and Sidharth had separated. According to recent media sources, the couple had officially called it quits and that Sidharth’s move to respond to Kiara’s social media posts was an attempt to mislead the media. Kiara and Sidharth’s acknowledgement that they are no longer together needs to be confirmed. Accordingly, Kiara’s response at the Jug Jugg Jeeyo launch clearly says that she does not have the idea to settle down at the moment.
