Landmark Underwriting forays into Canada market

Ontario, Canada (CU)_ Landmark Underwriting, based in London, has made its entry into the Canadian market, with Fergus Meldrum, an industry expert and recently appointed non-executive director, leading the new Canadian branch. Meldrum, the industry expert who is leaving NFP Canada to lead Landmark’s new Toronto branch, expressed his delight in joining the Canada branch. He said, “After watching the group’s accomplishments and development over only a few short years, it is a pleasure to be invited to join Landmark”.  

Meldrum expressed confidence in the company’s progress. He said, “The move into Canada comes at the right time for this established MGA group and into the mature Canadian marketplace, experience and capacity will bring our brokers a dynamic alternative market to present clients who are seeking their insurance solutions. I look forward to working with Ross Lazaroo-Hood and the board assisting them with their growth plans in Canada.”
