A teen prodigy from Madhya Pradesh, she has etched her name into history by becoming the world’s youngest female Chartered Accountant, a feat officially acknowledged by the Guinness World Records. Nandini’s journey from a small town to global recognition is one marked by perseverance, vision, and relentless effort. From an early age, Nandini demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for learning. She advanced through school rapidly, skipping two grades to complete her Class 10 exams at 13 and Class 12 at 15. This academic acceleration allowed her to begin preparing for the rigorous Chartered Accountancy exams far earlier than most of her peers. Inspired during a school visit by a Guinness World Record holder, Nandini set her sights on becoming the youngest Chartered Accountant in the world. Fueled by this ambition, she embarked on a demanding academic path, one that would eventually see her set a new global benchmark.

Nandini’s LinkedIn profile humbly captures her academic and professional journey: “Chartered Accountant (with B. Com) who has made a national record of getting AIR 1 in CA Finals at 19 yrs and AIR 31 in CA Inter at 16.” She began her corporate journey at PwC as an article trainee, gaining hands-on experience in diverse fields such as Statutory Audits, Group Reporting, IFRS Assignments, and Forensic Audits over a three-year span. Despite her qualifications, age-related skepticism posed early professional challenges. Companies were initially reluctant to accept a 16-year-old apprentice. But Nandini’s resilience, coupled with her consistent performance, helped her overcome these barriers and prove her mettle in a competitive environment.

Nandini completed her schooling at Victor Convent Higher Secondary School, a stepping stone to her historic achievement. In 2021, she scored an outstanding 614 out of 800 marks in the CA Final examination, achieving an All India Rank 1 at just 19 years and 330 days old. This score translated to an impressive 76.75% and solidified her position as a national and now international record-holder. The recognition came in February 2023 when she applied to the Guinness World Records, encouraged by her earlier mention in the India Book of Records. After months of waiting, she received the confirmation that changed her life.
Recalling the moment, she said, “At 3:45 PM on a seemingly ordinary day, my phone buzzed with an email notification, ‘Congratulations, now you are a Guinness World Records Title Holder.’ That moment was electrifying!” Nandini credits her success to the unwavering support of her parents, who identified her potential early and tailored her academic path accordingly. Her story stands as a powerful reminder that age is no barrier to greatness.
