Major reset as…

-

Justin Trudeau Canadian prime minister has shuffled his cabinet, calling it a positive shake – up, as his government pursues to better appeal to an irritated country struggling with swelling costs, housing crisis and inflation.

The Liberal Party, spearheaded by Trudeau has been in power since 2015, relived seven ministers and new portfolios were given to more than a dozen ministers on Wednesday, reported by the Canadian broadcaster CBC.

A new Abacus Data poll results that brought about the change, indicated the opposition Conservative Party has taken a significant lead over the liberals with 38 percent compared with the Liberal party’s 28 percent.

Trudeau informed in a news conference with regard to the cabinet shuffle in Ottawa, in a time of significant impact in the country and the world, this decision is considered a necessary and a positive step.

He told reporters, that times are challenging, however, this is the squad that will roll up their sleeves and will continue the hard work to fulfill the promise given to Canadians from coast to coast, building an ambitious and bright future for all.

Trudeau altered the duties of around three – quoters of the positions compared to his former cabinet. With Sean Fraser former immigration minister taking over a newly formed housing, communities and infrastructure minister. Marco Mendicino replaced by Dominic LeBlanc as the public safety minister, Justice minister handed to Arif Virani and Anita Anand replaced by Bill Blair as the defense minister.

President of polling company Ekos Frank Graves informed that this is not an adjustment but a major reset. The change is a clear understanding that the government is aware of their present position with the electorate is not strong.

Pierre Poilievre head of the Conservatives, comments on Trudeau’s cabinet shuffle as a submission of the government’s failure. this mass eradication and replacement of ministers is Trudeau’s admission of failure, as work doesn’t pay, everything cost more, crime and drugs are common and housing costs have doubled, Poilievre informed social media. He stated that firing the prime Minister will help the situation, not firing the ministers.
