Mumbai, India (CU)_ Sini Shetty from Karnataka was crowned Femina Miss India World 2022 during a glamorous ceremony organized in Mumbai. In addition to Shetty, Shinata Chauhan was named Miss India 2022 Second Runner-Up and Rubal Shekhawat was selected First Runner-Up for Miss India 2022 during the lavish ceremony hosted at the JIO World Convention Center in Mumbai, which gathered several Bollywood A-listers and VIPs.
The Miss India Organization took to their official Instagram page and conveyed a special message of congratulations to the three winners. The congratulations post read, “These women have a strong voice, and we have no doubt that they will utilize this opportunity to further all the worthwhile issues they support. Given the dedication they’ve shown in pursuing these titles, we have to affirm that they are fully deserving of all they have received. Congratulations, ladies! Let’s rejoice now”.
According to the official bios, Shetty was born in Mumbai and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. The 21-year-old model is now doing her degree in Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition, the beauty queen is a talented Bharatanatyam dancer when she is not performing mathematical calculations.
The first runner up Shekhawat is a native of the Indian state of Rajasthan, and her hobbies other than badminton include dancing, acting, and painting. The rising star has already made her Bollywood debut, starring with Emraan Hashmi and Saher Bamba in the B Praak song “Ishq Nahi Karte.”
The Miss India 2022 organization also honored the Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, who earned the same title 20 years before. The Miss India Organization paid special homage saying, “20 years of taking home the esteemed Femina Miss India title! Thanks to you, Neha Dhupia, countless of women worldwide have the power to pursue their aspirations in addition to becoming mentors to young females. Let’s commemorate your 20 years, @nehadhupia.
