Singapore (Commonwealth Union)_ Miss Universe Singapore beauty pageant has expanded its eligibility criteria to include all Singaporean women over 18 years old, regardless of their marital status. Additionally, the organization has removed the upper age limit, marking a significant move towards greater inclusivity in this renowned competition. By revising the eligibility criteria related to marital status, Miss Universe Singapore is challenging traditional notions that have historically limited participation to women adhering strictly to conventional ideals of femininity in beauty pageants worldwide.
