New laws to deal with trespassers on private property in South Africa

The draft Unlawful Entering on Premises Bill has been made available for public comment by the Department of Justice and Correctional Services.

If passed, the bill will completely repeal South Africa’s Trespass Act, No. 6 of 1959 and set new regulations against trespassing on property.
