Nigerian hospitals under great pressure!

Abuja, Nigeria (CU)_ With the country’s public health system already pressurized by the Covid-19 outbreak, 22 out of 36 states in Nigeria have recorded numerous cases of cholera, with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reporting over 440 deaths in July alone. According to local media sources, the Katsina State government witnessed a bacterial disease outbreak in some parts of its local government areas, whereas the Jigawa State government registered around 100 deaths in its 19 local government areas.
