NASHVILLE, USA (CWBN)_ In the latest development in the mysterious case of the Christmas Day RV bombing in Nashville, Tennessee, officials have released further details regarding the person they feel was responsible for the incident. Investigators attached to the United States Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI) stated on Sunday (December 28) that the man they believe to be responsible for the Christmas Day bombing in Nashville was killed in the explosion.
Officials named Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, as being responsible for the bombing. He is believed to have acted alone. DNA and other evidence can link Warner to the blast, according to investigators. A prominent international news agency reports that Warner has previously worked as a computer consultant and has experience working with electronics, which includes experience working with alarms. Officials are said to have identified him as a person of interest in the bombings by Saturday (December 26) before formally announcing on Sunday that he was responsible for the attack.
Not much is known about the reasons for the explosion. Eyewitness accounts indicate that a recorded announcement was played before the explosion, warning bystanders that a bomb would explode soon. Reports also indicate that the recorded warning switched to Petula Clark’s 1964 hit “Downtown” in the moments running up to the explosion.
The blast injured three people, led to the collapse of at least one building, damaged several others and led to fires, flooding and power outages as well as interrupting cell phone and internet services to homes and businesses in the area, according to a US media report.
