Europe, UK (Commonwealth Union) – Kensington Palace has recently released a statement assuring the public that Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is being kept informed about major projects and events even as she undergoes treatment for cancer. This announcement has provided some insight into the strength and dedication of the beloved royal, who has chosen to prioritize her health and well-being during this challenging time.

A few weeks after Princess Catherine announced her cancer diagnosis, Kensington Palace has provided a significant update.

This update follows the public release of a video by Princess Catherine and Prince William recently.

Kensington Palace has announced that Kate Middleton is staying updated on major projects while she undergoes treatment for cancer. Nonetheless, the Princess of Wales will not resume her official duties until her medical team gives the green light.

A palace spokesperson informed the BBC that her return to work is not anticipated at this time. According to the spokesperson “The princess is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team,”

“Early childhood will continue to be central to her public work.”

At the launch of a report by her early year’s foundation, the update was given.

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood released a report outlining the business case for giving priority to early childhood and announced the first set of actions that would be taken as a result of its work.

The Taskforce was laid out in Walk 2023 to stir business activity on youth. Since then, Taskforce members Aviva, Deloitte, The Co-operative Group, Iceland Foods, IKEA UK and Ireland, The LEGO Group, NatWest Group, and Unilever UK have collaborated to determine the scope of the opportunity and the role that businesses can play.

Many well-wishers of the princess had been eagerly awaiting an update with deep concerns over her health.
