MUMBAI, India (Commonwealth Union)_ Bollywood’s adorable couple and soon-to-be parents Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are now enjoying the success of their latest film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, opened up about the qualities that they like and loathe about one another. During a media interview, Ranbir was questioned about the bothersome and admirable qualities of his wife Alia.
The actor responded: “What I admire about Alia is that she is brilliant, and whatever she does, she’s brilliant and a quality of us that I tolerate is that what happens with her when she sleeps now is that she starts moving diagonally and eventually your bed space becomes smaller and smaller and her head is somewhere, her legs are somewhere and eventually I’m on the corner of the bed so I’m struggling with that.”
When asked the same question, Alia Bhatt said: “One thing I love about Ranbir is his silence, he’s a very good listener and one thing that I tolerate is also his silence, sometimes I need him to respond and he doesn’t respond because he’s like Zen.” Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on April 14 in a private ceremony attended by close relatives and friends at their Mumbai apartment. The couple’s debut film together was Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. A couple of weeks back, Alia Bhatt revealed her pregnancy on Instagram.
Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt has also discussed accepting parenthood. She said: “It feels exciting, nerve-wracking, all of those things put together. But it is a fact that I can’t wait to experience it. And I will do so with utmost dedication as every parent tries to be the best parent in the world. I will try with all my mind and will also try to be that actor that I have always been to satisfy my desires and wants because that’s an important part of who I am as well. So, that doesn’t change.”
In terms of work, Alia is yet to make her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The film is helmed by director Tom Harper. Her upcoming film is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Karan Johar. Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming project is Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
