Religious organization donates wheelchairs to Nigerian hospitals

Alex Ngoro, the Calabar Nigeria Stake president of the church, donated the wheelchairs to the hospital. Additionally, Charles Adebayo, the church’s Regional Manager for Welfare and Self-Reliance Services, stated that the contribution is open to all human beings and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the donated things. Shaaban Abdullahi, the Secretary of the Muslim Community in Cross River state, responded to the church’s initiative, praising them for demonstrating religious tolerance.

Additionally, Angela, a spokesperson of the General Hospital Akamkpa, stated that one of the major issues was lack of wheelchairs in the hospital premises, posing a significant issue in terms of patient transportation. She stated that the two chairs donated to the hospital will significantly contribute to a better delivery of medical care.
