Just a couple of days ago, the residents of the city of Lismore and northern New South Wales launched major clean-up efforts after the area was rocked by two devastating floods in a month. However, the harsh weather conditions show no sign of easing in the state’s capital, Sydney, where rivers burst their banks, dumping more than a month’s rainfall over a few hours.
