Princess Anisha Rosnah, though not born into royalty, comes from a highly respected family in Brunei. Her grandfather, Pehin Dato Isa, was a close advisor to the Sultan and played a key role in the Bruneian government during the 1960s and 70s. Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic, Anisha’s brother, is also known to be close friends with Prince Mateen. Anisha was born in London and is now a successful entrepreneur. She owns a silk fashion label and a bespoke travel agency while also fulfilling her royal obligations.

Their royal wedding in early 2024 was attended by nearly 5,000 people, including officials and royalty from Malaysia, Jordan, Bhutan, and other countries. It was a significant occasion that highlighted both tradition and modernity in Brunei’s royal circles. With a new baby on the way, Prince Mateen and Princess Anisha are looking forward to becoming parents. Their expanding family is expected to generate even more public curiosity as they prepare to welcome the newest member of the Brunei royal family.
