Mumbai, India (CWBN)_ On Tuesday, the famous Bollywood veteran actress Sharmila Tagore turned 76. On her birthday, her granddaughter Sara Ali Khan surprised her with a cutest birthday wishes on social media. Sara Ali Khan who is also an actress is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan. Sara Ali Khan posted glimpses of the birthday celebrations of Sharmila Tagore on Tuesday night and also penned a lovely note for her “Badi Amman.” The photos showed Sharmila Tagore wearing a red kurti matched with a sleeveless winter jacket, while Sara is seen in a pastel peach sharara suit. Sara wished her grandma saying, “Happy birthday, Badi Amman. Thank you for being my pillar of support, guiding force and inspiration. I love you lots”.
Sara Ali Khan was born to Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, actress Amrita Singh. Later, Saif married actress Kareena Kapoor, and they are now parents to three-year-old Taimur. In addition, Saif and Amrita have a son named Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Earlier, Sharmila Tagore participated in her daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor’s talk show ‘What Women Want’, where she said that she “loves” the way Sara Ali Khan handles herself during her interviews and added that she is really “proud” of her.
In 2018, Sara Ali Khan debuted in the Abhishek Kapoor’s Bollywood movie Kedarnath. At that point, Amrita Singh was contacted by Sharmila Tagore, where she shared how proud she was of her granddaughter. Sara had said in an interview that “Dadi is extremely proud. She is getting a lot of messages from people and she messaged mom which was a big one for me.”
On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan is currently working on her project Coolie No 1, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
