EDINBURGH (CU)_As the global community races against the clock to minimise their carbon footprint in order to tackle the ongoing climate crisis, offshore wind farms are playing a significant role in these efforts. As of 2020, the total worldwide offshore wind power capacity stood at 35.3GW, to which the United Kingdom, China and Germany made major contributions.
