“Sick Joke” Kourtney Kardashian Slammed

that Kourtney Kardashian has a deal with the brand to launch her own line with them. So, the internet who does not apparently miss a beat caught on to this. Now the unimpressed netizens are asking is she doing this because she genuinely cares about sustainable fashion or does, she just wants to hustle the brand and sell her clothes and make money.

Whilst these are suspicions that are yet to be proved. The real reason behind all this salt is that BooHoo as a brand has been known to be openly unsustainable. Did the brand think that they could slap a Kardashian on board and everything would all dandy.

The thing is though Kourtney Kardashian is now getting called out and slammed because she is known to be mindful of certain things. Is it possible that she had ni idea what she was signing up with or it was just a very serious oversight on the part of her team’s research.

In 2019 the brand was named one of the least sustainable fashion brands by the UK’s Parliament’s Environmental Audit Committee, and it was also discovered in 2020 that it was paying workers in Leicester $3.50 an hour.

The organisations attributed, “low prices paid by Boohoo, and its encouragement of price competition among suppliers and demand for short order times” as “drivers for illegally low wage payments and poor working conditions.”

And now, Kourtney Kardashian has jumped on board as the sustainable ambassador and has claimed she’ll be sharing, “actional tips with consumers on how they can play their own part,” to be more sustainable. Of course, the most sustainable thing to do would be to stop buying from and supporting brands like Boohoo.

Basically, the internet is unhappy!

It will be interesting to see if Kourtney Kardashian responds to these claims.
