India (Common Wealth) _ Hyundai has carefully secured the second position in the Indian automotive industry for the past decade or two. Its rule is now in jeopardy, as the difference between the Silver and Bronze medals is barely 1%. The rivalry is fierce, with Tata Motors having temporarily grabbed the Silver thrice in the recent past.

Hyundai India said that it had the highest-ever sales in a fiscal year since it began operations in India in the fiscal year 2022-23. The corporation made the announcement in an official press release. According to a press statement from Hyundai, the South Korean automaker sold 5, 67,546 units in the fiscal year that concluded on March 31, 2023.

Hyundai’s current sales results are pretty outstanding, with the company selling 4, 81,500 units in the fiscal year 2021-22. This equates to a 17.9 percent increase year on year. Furthermore, Hyundai increased its March domestic sales by 13% to 50,600 automobiles, up from 44,600 vehicles sold in the same month in 2022. In the press release, Mr. Tarun Garg, Hyundai India’s Chief Operating Officer, complimented on the company’s phenomenal sales results.

Mr. Garg emphasized Hyundai Motor India’s remarkable achievement in fiscal year 22-23 in the press announcement. The business introduced seven new vehicles, including the all-new Hyundai TUCSON, New Venue, Venue N Line, All-electric IONIQ 5, New Grand i10 NIOS, New AURA, and the all-new Hyundai VERNA, which cater to various segments of the market.

As a result, the brand has seen a huge increase in popularity among new-age Indian clients. Despite global difficulties, the Indian auto industry is seeing tremendous momentum as a result of the excellent growth story led by Gen MZ.

Hyundai is regarded as one of the top automobile brands in India due to the high quality and low pricing of their vehicles. The Creta compact SUV and Verna sedan, in particular, have grown popular among the general public.

In India, Hyundai just debuted the all-new Verna car. The new Verna is available in four trim levels: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). Prices range from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna 2023 is available with two engines: a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-liter normally aspirated petrol engine.

In addition, various creature comforts have been incorporated to the next-generation Verna. The car now has a dual-screen infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 2-spoke steering wheel, ventilated and heated front seats, automated climate control, 64-color ambient lighting, a Bose audio system, a wireless charger, an electric sunroof, and a smart trunk.
