Sri Lankan Hotels secures Safehotels Premium Level certification.

Hotels (Commonwealth Union) _ The Radisson Blu Resort Galle and Radisson Hotel Colombo have achieved the Safehotels Premium Level certification, awarded by Safehotels Alliance AB, a global certification company based in Sweden. This recognition underscores the commitment of the two hotels to guest safety, security, and well-being, setting a new benchmark for the hospitality industry in the region. Notably, Radisson Blu Resort Galle and Radisson Hotel Colombo are the first two hotels in Sri Lanka to attain the Safehotels certification, establishing a precedent for the country’s hospitality sector.

The prestigious certification indicates that both hotels have successfully implemented comprehensive safety and security measures in line with international standards. Safe Hotels Alliance AB conducted thorough assessments, audits, and inspections covering a spectrum of aspects, including security, health, and safety protocols, crisis management, fire safety, and emergency response procedures. This comprehensive evaluation ensures a robust and well-rounded examination of various facets critical to maintaining a secure and safe environment.
