Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood’s newly weds and adorable star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have revealed an unexpected news. Alia posted on Instagram a picture of herself and Ranbir Kapoor at the hospital, announcing that the duo is expecting their first child shortly. Her second photograph included two adult lions and a cub. Sharing the cute pictures, she wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.”
Fans, including Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor, Brahmastra co-star Mouni Roy, and Rakul Preet, showered the photographs with congrats and heart emojis. Riddhima’s Instagram post read, “My babies are having a baby…” The duo will be featured in the upcoming September release of the film Brahmastra. Alia has a number of upcoming projects, such as Darlings and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.
After being in a relationship for more than four years, Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in April this year. The duo had their wedding in a small, private ceremony at Ranbir’s home in Mumbai. Recently, Ranbir shared about his wedding with Alia. He said, “It is a very big year for me, a great year for me, I got married. It is a beautiful thing that has happened in my life. I used to say, in my films, that shaadi (marriage) is dal chawal.”
Ranbir mentioned this in reference to his dialogue from the film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. He said, “Shaadi is daal chawal for pachaas saal till you die. Arey life mein thoda bahut keema pav, tangdi kebab, hakka noodles bhi hona chahiye na (Can’t have boring dal-rice for 50 years, you need other flavors too)!” He added, “But boss, after my experiences in life, I can say dal-chawal is the best. My life with Alia is the best. My life has dal chawal with tadka, pickle and onions, it has everything. So, I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner”.
