The stage is set for a summer of entertainment in Darlington.  The Summer Stage is in the market during school holidays along with a pop-up park area that is complete with deckchairs and grass flooring, to provide entertainment for the lineup of events planned.

The Summer Stage which has been installed in time for the week-long Darlington by the Sea event is being sponsored by YouFibre.  This beach-themed event will take place from Monday, 24th July to Friday, 28th July.  Families can enjoy free sandcastle building in a giant sandpit in the market square, balloon modelling, face painting, and lots more fun and games. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/23672238.stage-set-darlington-summer-entertainment/

YouFibre community engagement manager Joe Gregory said that the Darlington Council was lining up a fantastic programme of summer events, and they were thrilled to be able to help support it as a headline sponsor of the summer stage.  He stated that such events really bring the community together and that they were very excited to play a part in them.

A Cabinet member for economy, Chris McEwan, said that they had an exciting programme of events across the summer that included something for all the family.  He said he was delighted that YouFibre had chosen to support Darlington and help them keep their calendar of events free for everyone to enjoy.
