Sutherland Hospital honored with Excellence Award for stroke care!

Vicki Weeden, General Manager at Sutherland Hospital, expressed her immense pride in being recognized for providing exemplary stroke treatment. Ms Wheedon attributed the success to his team. She said, “I highly commend our team for this terrific achievement. They are dedicated to helping patients who have experienced a stroke and this recognition certainly demonstrates this”. She expressed pride over the milestone success. She said, “The Sutherland Hospital team has a lot to be proud of and being named in these Excellence Awards is a huge morale boost for everyone.”

According to Professor Dominique Cadilhac (Monash University), who serves as the Data Custodian for the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health’s Australian Stroke Clinical Registry and Australian Stroke Data Tool, it was good to witness several hospitals in the winning list. Professor Cadilhac expressed delight over the recognition. He said, “It was encouraging to see a greater number of hospitals achieving excellence this year – 13 up from seven in 2020”. He also conveyed his wishes to the winners. He added, “That reflects an ongoing dedication to achieve the best outcomes for patients with stroke to help them survive and live healthy lives into the future. I congratulate the winning hospitals.”
