India (Commonwealth) _Tata, frontline automaker revealed practically all of the information about the revamped SUV pair, with the exception of their prices, when the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari made their public debuts. The launch of the new Tata Harrier and Tata Safari on October 17 has now been officially announced. Tata is taking reservations for the pair for Rs 25,000 both online and at its outlets across India.

Similar improvements to both SUVs’ designs have been made. These updates include a redesigned grille, sharper indicators, and split-LED headlights that are stacked vertically. The front of the two flagship SUVs also has an extended LED DRL strip.

The bottom portions of their front doors now have the names “Harrier” and “Safari,” respectively, and both now have alloy wheels that range in size from 17 to 19 inches. The two SUVs’ rear ends are distinguished by a linked LED taillight system and revised name badge fonts. Large skid plates are installed on the front and back of both SUVs.

Tata has completely updated both the interiors of the SUVs, which now include layered dashboard designs, redesigned central AC vents, and touch-based climate control panels. A 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated “Tata” logo is also included with the new Harrier and Safari models. Depending on the ‘Persona’ you choose, the cabin has been color-coordinated.

With the addition of a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, multi-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof, both Tata vehicles now come with an even longer list of features. Additionally, they include cruise control, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats (middle row as well in the Safari’s 6-seat configuration).

Up to seven airbags (including a driver-side knee airbag), a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, electronic stability programming (ESP), and hill-hold assist are now available to protect passengers. Additionally, they receive adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, and blind spot monitoring as part of their advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

As of right now, Tata has decided to only sell the redesigned Harrier and Safari with the well-known 2-liter diesel engine (170PS/350Nm), which is available with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

Harrier- Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless, and Safari- Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished—are the updated variants that will be available for sale with both SUVs. We anticipate that the new Harrier and the Safari will sell for up to a lakh more than they currently do. For comparison, the current Safari costs between Rs 15.85 lakh and Rs 25.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the current Harrier is priced between Rs 15.20 lakh and Rs 24.27 lakh.

The 5-seat SUV will compete against the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700, higher-spec versions of the Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos, as well as other vehicles. The Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus will all face competition from the Safari facelift.

Tata unveiled the 2023 Harrier and announced that the SUV is now available for pre-order for a nominal fee of Rs 25,000. The revamped SUV comes in four new version names: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless, in addition to a refreshed design and additional amenities. The Tata Harrier’s primary feature highlights for each variation are listed below. Recent news about the Tata Safari facelift only came in the shape of pictures. It has been available for reservations starting from October 6 for Rs 25,000 at Tata’s pan-Indian dealerships as well as online. The upgraded model range, feature list, and even the available powertrain for the new SUV were all disclosed by Tata. The four broad versions of the Safari makeover are Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished.
