Taylor & Francis teams up with Biotechnology Research Society to improve India’s biotechnology research

Mumbai, India (CU)_ Taylor & Francis Group is delighted to announce a collaboration with India’s Biotech Research Society (BRSI). As part of the agreement, the BRSI will recommend to Taylor & Francis prospective writers from its membership. The objective is that BRSI members disseminate their biotechnology research to a broader audience through publication in Taylor & Francis Group worldwide journals.

Taylor & Francis is a global leader in the field of scientific publishing. The BRSI is a not-for-profit scientific and professional organization committed to advancing quality and competence in the field of biotechnology. It fosters research and development in biotechnology and supports partnerships between academic institutions and biotechnology firms. Additionally, it disseminates information through lectures, seminars, and symposia on scientific and societal initiatives.

Prof Ashok Pandey, BRSI Distinguished Fellow and Distinguished Scientist at the Centre for Innovation and Translational Research, CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, expressed confidence in the cooperation. He said, “It’s great that the BRSI and Taylor & Francis Group have come together and signed an agreement on the publication of books together. This fulfills one of their major aims, i.e., dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge and developments for the benefits of the scientific community as well as others such as industries and policymakers through publications. I am confident that this will mutually help all the stakeholders, namely, the members of the BRSI, Taylor & Francis, and the readers.”

According to the same estimate, the Indian biotechnology industry is expected to reach a value of US$ 150 billion by 2025.
