Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ A home tour video from Indore has taken the internet by storm and for good reason. The video showcases a mansion that appears to be covered almost entirely in gold. From gold-coated furniture to switchboards plated with 24-carat gold, the home has left viewers amazed and full of questions. The luxurious residence reportedly belongs to Anoop Agrawal, a government contractor based in Indore. The video, filmed by content creator Priyam Saraswat, has already garnered over 1.7 million views on YouTube Shorts, quickly becoming a viral sensation.

The tour begins with Saraswat politely asking for a walkthrough, and the owners, Agrawal and his wife, happily oblige. The first stop is their private gaushala (cow shelter), which the couple says is a source of peace and positive energy. This space, deeply rooted in tradition and spirituality, reflects the family’s values and their belief in the energy animals bring to a home. From there, the tour enters the golden mansion, where the opulence truly shines. Every corner of the mansion glows with golden touches. Grand chandeliers, shimmering golden walls, and even gold-plated water taps and light switches are on display. Almost every item inside the house either features gold plating or is crafted with a gold finish.

In one segment, Agrawal proudly walks through his luxury car collection before taking the viewers into different parts of the house, including the drawing room, dining area, and bedrooms. He mentions that the mansion has ten rooms, and leads Saraswat to his personal favorite among them. While the home has attracted widespread fascination, it has also sparked political reactions. The Congress party shared the viral video on X, using it to criticize infrastructure failures under the current administration. In their post, they wrote, “Why are our highways collapsing, and bridges falling? Maybe the answers lie here – a government contractor in Indore lives in a mansion with gold taps and switches.”

The party also made a sarcastic remark, suggesting the cow shelter might be a shield against investigative agencies. “He has ED proofed himself by adding a Gau Shala in his house. People who wanted ED to raid the Pani puri wala who earned 40 lakhs by working hard wouldn’t want ED to visit this gentleman’s house,” the post read. The video continues to circulate widely, drawing both awe and criticism across social media platforms.
