Illinois, USA (CU)_ A novel reusable fabric capable of deactivating biological and chemical threats has the potential to transform the protective clothing industry. Northwestern University (Il, USA) researchers have created a material that has the potential to alter the present scenario of the entire protective apparel. The fabric is capable of deactivating some biological and chemical hazards, thereby effectively protecting against them. While it is uncommon for a substance to guard against both types of threats, bleach can be used to restore the material to its natural state.
