Mumbai, India (CWBN) _ The famous Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently revealed a secret about his girlfriend Natasha Dalal in a talk show ‘What Woman Want’ with Kareena Kapoor. Varun disclosed that he was rejected by his fiancee Natasha 3 to 4 times before the duo started dating. To note, Natasha is Varun’s childhood sweetheart and he met her first in grade 6. The pair are now engaged and is expected to marry soon. Natasha is a fashion designer by profession.
During the show, Varun shared all his experiences from the time he met her till how they fell in love. He said it was a love at first sight and added, “She rejected me like three-four times and I didn’t give hope.” After a long-term friendship, the couple started dating. Varun and Natasha had planned their wedding this year. But unfortunately, due the pandemic outbreak, the couple postponed their wedding.
Varun further shared about his love at first sight experience. He remembered his childhood days with Natasha and their friendship during school days. He also shared how he fell in love with her. Varun said, “The first time I met Natasha was in the sixth standard. We have not been dating since then. We were friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. We were very close friends but the minute I saw her, I still remember, we went to Maneckji Cooper, she was in the yellow house and I was in the red house. It was on the basketball court. So, in the lunch break, in the canteen, they give you food and an energy drink. I remember her walking, I remember seeing her and actually, when I saw her, I felt like I fell in love with her that day. That was it.”
During the talk show, when asked about his wedding plans, Varun said on seeing his brother Rohit Dhawan’s wedding, he too felt like getting married. After confirming that the pair are engaged, Kareena Kapoor mentioned Natasha as Varun’s fiancee. Varun said, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long… I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, This is good”.
Natasha Dalal can be seen with Varun in most of his social media pictures. She can also be spotted in Varun’s family photos. During this year’s Karwa Chauth pooja, Natasha spent her time with Varun’s family, where she posed with his mom Karuna, Sunita and others. Varun Dhawan often used to share adorable posts for his sweetheart Natasha in social media.
During Karan Johar’s talk show Coffee with Karan, Varun first revealed that he is dating Natasha. He said, “I am dating her and we are a couple…I plan to marry her.”
