Walton enters European market with its own LED TV brand

Dhaka, Bangladesh (CU)_ The Bangladeshi giant electronics brand Walton is all set to enter the European market with plans to trade with Romania, exporting its own branded LED televisions. According to a press release, Walton announced the news on Sunday during the First Walton Television Brand Business in Romania on a virtual platform at the Walton Corporate Office in the capital.

The Romanian importer KTN Technology and Walton have previously signed a distribution business agreement. On behalf of their corresponding companies, Edward Kim, president of Walton’s international business unit, and Florian Tirla, general manager of KTN Technology, signed the contract. Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi and the directors SM Mahbubul Alam and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi also attended and addressed the program.

The other senior members who were present at the program were Walton Hi-Tech executive director SM Zahid Hasan and Walton TV CEO Mostafa Nahid Hossain, and Senior Deputy Operational Director Syed Al Imran. The signing ceremony was also attended by KTN Technology Chief Financial Officer Simona Corbean and Sales and Marketing Manager Mihai Corbean. According to the business contract, KTN Technology became the first distributor of the Walton brand in Romania and in the European market as well.
