Moreover, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres noted that the quickest path towards “a fast, and fair recovery” is an equitable and sustainable vaccine roll-out worldwide”. He further noted that health care systems across the world could be better supported through the COVAX vaccine sharing scheme which funded the vaccine supply for nearly 100 low and middle-income countries so far.
