What happens when you cheat – is it worth it?

 impersonations at their final exam and these three students have now been debarred. They were MBBS students and they will not be allowed to re take the exam or even complete the remaining exams dues in the next few weeks. Apart from the debarring of the students the university has gone further and also suspended the exam duties of the chief examination superintendent and three women invigilators one of whom was his wife.

KUHS has not had any cases like this before and this was the first ever impersonation reported in the university. The Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohanan Kunnummal met Chancellor and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and briefed him of the incident. The irregularity was found in the Part 1 (additional) exams of third year students held in January t this year. The university’s enquiry panel also reported that a student’s answer sheet has been missing.

KUHS has directed to find those who had impersonated the students, and also to lodge a police complaint. More people are likely to…
