Pakistan (Commonwealth) _ According to ISPR, at the 4th CISM (Council of International Military Sports) World Military Cadet Games, which took place in Venezuela from August 16 to 22, the Pakistani Armed Forces represented their country with pride.
The Pakistani team competed in shooting, track, and field sports and won five coveted medals, showcasing their extraordinary talent and willpower. Chief Warrant Officer Moeed Baloch of the Pakistan Air Force took home two medals: one gold and one silver in the 400-meter event.
Commander Muhammad Akhtar of the Pakistan Army took home two medals: one in the 10,000-meter race and one in the 5000-meter event. The Pakistan Army squad, consisting of Sepoy Muhammad Rashid, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and NK Qasim Bilal, earned a silver medal in the 25-meter pistol shooting quick team category during the shooting games.

The team, which included first-year cadets Daniela Brito Guerra, Katiuska Moreno de la Rosa, and Valery Montenegro Sotolongo from the Bolivarian Army Military Academy, and second-year cadet Adriana Camacho Rodríguez from the Bolivarian Navy Military Academy, achieved a time of 4:00.64. Their timing broke the previous record of 4:03.74, demonstrating their quickness, coordination, and willpower. China took home the bronze with a time of 4:26.49, while the Russian team came in second with a time of 4:03.15.
There was just as much competitiveness in the women’s 1500 meters. Aleksandra Kuznetsova, a Russian cadet, won the gold medal after crossing the finish line in 5:07.74. The sprint competitions increased the thrill of the day as Venezuela demonstrated its strength once more. Osdalys Heredia Veliz had a dominant effort to win the gold medal in the women’s 200-meter sprint.
Another exciting event was the men’s 200-meter sprint, when Reymi Bastidas Perdomo, a Venezuelan cadet, won the gold medal in a timing of 21.69 seconds by outpacing the competition. The event was extremely close; Russia’s Valerii Kuzmin took the bronze with a timing of 21.73 seconds, while Pakistan’s Abdul Moeed finished barely behind in 21.72 seconds to capture the silver.
