Wrath of COVID 19 disappoints cricket fans on IPL 2021!

Mumbai, India (CU)_ The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed the ongoing 14th Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL) in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases among players and other supporting staff from various departments. In reaction to the IPL suspension, several prominent figures like journalists and former players and cricket fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the postponement.

IPL updated the news in its Twitter page. It tweeted, “The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting has unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season with immediate effect”.
