Mumbai (CWBN)_ The celebrity couple Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma are blessed with baby boy. Kunal said that both the mother and the baby are safe and doing fine. The famous couple often had been on the news in the recent years. The couple got engaged in 2017 and registered their marriage earlier this year. They have planned on a grand traditional wedding in April this year, but it was postponed due to the lockdowns. They together welcomed their first child on Friday.
Overwhelmed with joy, Kunal re-shared all his congratulatory wishes from his friends in the social media. He said in an interview “Puja and I are proud and extremely happy to share that we are parents of a lovely baby boy today.” He added “I was with Puja in the operation theatre, while she delivered our baby. Both Puja and the baby are doing fine and I am extremely thankful to God for his blessings”.
Puja had shared her baby shower pictures in the Instagram last month. She thanked all her loved ones for the wonderful surprises. She wrote on her Instagram ” I can’t express my feelings in words as I am overwhelmed with all the love each and every one showered yesterday for my 1st baby shower. Starting from my love Kunal, thanks for the 1st surprise”.
Puja and Kunal had their pregnancy photoshoot few days before her delivery. They have shared some pictures of it in Instagram and Puja wrote “Awaiting baby”, while Kunal wrote “Ab intezaar aur nahi”.
Puja Banerjee is a popular Indian TV star and participated in TV shows such as Qubool Hai and played lead roles in shows such as Sarvggun Sampanna, Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev and Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. She has also participated in popular reality TV shows such as Bigg Boss Bangla and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. She has also starred in a number of Bengali movies such as Hoichoi Unlimited, Proloy Loveria and Teen Patti.
Apart from her media life, she said she is enjoying her motherhood now. The couple seems quite busy with their newborn and enjoying their parenthood.
