Chiranjeevi Sarja’s wife Meghana Raj and new born son tested positive for COVID-19

Bengaluru, India (CWBN)_ Meghana Raj, the late actor Chiranjeevi Sarja’s wife and her new born infant son tested positive for COVID-19 recently. On Tuesday evening, she posted a tweet in which she confirmed that the virus had also contracted her infant son as well as her parents. In the post she shared in Twitter, she wrote, “Hello all, my father, mother, myself and my little one have been tested positive for COVID… We have informed everyone who have come in contact with us during the past few weeks about our results…. I urge Chiru and my fans to not fret and assuring you guys that we are all doing fine and are currently under treatment… Junior C is fine and keeping me occupied every second. We as a family will fight this battle and will come out of it victorious.”

Meghana Raj, in her message, expressed hopes that they will fight the virus and recover from it soon. She also said that her family has been isolated and is under treatment. She urged others who came in contact with her family to get tested immediately and to take care of themselves. She conveyed that the baby and the family are fine and soon will be recovered.

Meghana Raj and the late actor Chiranjeevi Sarja got married in 2018 and Meghana welcomed a boy baby this October. On June 7, Chiranjeevi Sarja died at a hospital in Bengaluru due to cardiac arrest. Meghana was four months pregnant during the time of her husband’s death. Many Kollywood and Tollywood actors such as Allu Sirish, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kriti Kharbanda, Manchu Manoj and other southern actors paid tribute to the actor on social media.

Chiranjeevi Sarja made his debut in the 2009 film Vayuputra, which is a remake of Sandakozhi, a Tamil movie. He featured in numerous films such as Samhaara, Aadyaa, Khaki, Sinnga, Amma I Love You, Prema Baraha, Dandam Dashagunam and Varadhanayaka during his ten years of professional life. Chiranjeevi Sarja is the son of the veteran Kannada star Shakti Prasad and brother of actor Dhruva Sarja and nephew of the famous south Indian actor Arjun Sarja.
