Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd (HAL), India’s first public sector pharmaceutical corporation, is now in the race to help the nation during the pandemic. In the next three months, the Pimpri-based drug production unit, which was established in 1954, will manufacture oral medication to treat mild COVID-19 cases. The ailing public sector undertaking (PSU) claims to be in restoration, and two new plants were launched on Friday.
