Indian-origin contestant bags the season 13 Masterchef Australia title

Canberra, Australia (CU)_ The popular cookery show MasterChef Australia Season 13 has come to a close, with the announcement of the winner. With his remarkable and creditable success, Indian-origin Justin Narayan has made Indians proud. After beating the other two finalists, Kishwar Chowdhury and Pete Campbell, in the final round, Justin won the competition. After winning the contest, he thanked the audience in his Instagram account for their support.

Along with a series of photos from the last episode, Justin Narayan wrote, “Find people that believe in you. Back yourself. Go hard and hopefully you will surprise yourself. Whoever’s reading this I love you”. In terms of prize money, Justin is said to have received USD 250,000, which is about INR 1.86 million in addition to the MasterChef trophy. Justin’s victory was also confirmed on MasterChef Australia’s official Instagram page. They posted a video of Justin’s celebration after winning the competition.

The post read, “We think it’s safe to say @justinnarayan’s mind is blown right now”. In a video made shortly after the announcement, Justin Narayan was happy and full of smiles. Justin referred to the victory as a surreal feeling. He said, “Huge thanks to the judges and other contestants. It was the best experience of my life”.

This year, the latest season of MasterChef Australia 13 drew a lot of attention, particularly in India. In addition to Justin Narayan, the show also included Depinder Chhibber, an Indian-origin candidate who was a fan favorite. One of the other three finalists, Kishwar Chowdhury, had also prepared various Indian and Bengali delicacies to satisfy the judges during the competition.
