A major shortfall in the local production of vaccines

MELBOURNE (CU)_In the COVID Vaccination Allocations Horizons document, which sets out the plans for the distribution of vaccines throughout this year, the government of Australia said AstraZeneca doses between 2.2 million and 2.6 million are expected to be allocated each week in July. However, the local production of the jabs have now fallen to just one-tenth of what was promised to be released to states, doctors, the elderly and those in disability care.
