Manufacturers Association blames Abuja for industry’s poor performance

LAGOS (CU)_The downturn in economic activities on account of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on manufacturing sectors across the globe, including that of Nigeria’s. Nevertheless, the country’s national industrial association claims that the global health crisis is not the only contributing factor to the poor performance of the industry, which is contributing less than 10 per cent to the nation’s GDP.
