Mumbai, India (CU)_ Diwali is arriving in a few days, and it seems actress Juhi Chawla is all ready to light up the festival. Yes, she has begun her deep-cleaning process at home in preparation for the festivities. The actress took to Instagram and shared two images of herself cleaning her home with her crew and tossing unused, non-functioning-but-still-kept stuff. She also gave some smart ideas to get rid of the old stuff at home.
The first picture features Juhi Chawla seated on the floor while her staff assists her in getting rid of the hoarded-up goods, and the second photo shows her cleaning a cabinet. On sharing the pictures, the actress wrote, “Diwali Safai Abhiyaan... Getting rid of all the unused, hoarded-up, one-day-it-will-fit-me, not-working-but-still-kept items”, and added, “Have you all started as well? #diwalicleaning.”
Juhi Chawla is setting some serious cleaning objectives for actress Archana Puran Singh. In response to the post, Archana wrote, “Lovely! You’re inspiring me to do the same… waise Diwali safai has also started in my house. But I want to be as involved in it as you seem to be. What fun. Decluttering is so therapeutic.” Juhi Chawla made her Bollywood debut in 1986 with Sultanat, but her breakthrough film as a main actress Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was released in 1988, where she starred alongside Aamir Khan.
Juhi was one of Bollywood’s most popular actresses and dream girl in the 1990s. She has appeared in a number of films, including Amar Prem, Chandni, Swarg, Pratibandh, Ishq, and Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi and many others. The actress was most recently seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, alongside Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Sonam Kapoor, which was released in 2019.
