Australian miner seeking to expand footprint in BC’s Golden Triangle

MELBOURNE (CU)_Over the recent months Canada’s gold sector has reported a wave of mergers and acquisitions, with Toronto-based Agnico Eagle Mines and Kirkland Lake Gold announcing a merger in September, while AngloGold Ashanti offered to acquire the remaining stake in Corvus Gold, a junior gold exploration and development company in Vancouver, in the same month.
