Wyloo Metals launches third bid for Canadian nickel miner

PERTH (CU)_Over the recent months, Perth-based Wyloo Metals Pty Ltd has been battling it out with its rival BHP over the acquisition of Canadian nickel miner Noront Resources Ltd. Last December, Wyloo made its original takeover offer at C31.5¢ a share, which was followed by a C55¢ offer by BHP in July this year. Later, in mid-October, Wyloo Metals offered a C70¢-a-share, which BHP beat a day later with its C75¢ bid.
