BAKAU (CU)_Adama Barrow, of the National People’s Party of the Gambia, was sworn in as the third President of the West African nation recently. As a jubilant crowd of Gambians gathered at the Independence Stadium, in the town of Bakau, he took oath of office, following his re-election after securing 53 per cent of the fourth-December vote.
