Shell ‘sorry’ for buying cheap Russian oil shipment!

GLOBAL – Major oil firm Shell is to leave Russia and has apologised for buying a shipment of Russian crude oil last week as other international companies cut ties with the country.

In an about-turn from its position last week, Shell announced its intent to “withdraw from its involvement in all Russian hydrocarbons, including crude oil, petroleum products, gas and liquefied natural gas”.
