Agriculture officers of Ghana are sensitized on Modern Biotechnology

Accra, Ghana (CU)_ On Friday, a one-day sensitization session on contemporary biotechnology was organized at Abokobi, in the Greater Accra Region’s Ga East Municipality. The session was attended by 20 district agricultural officers of the region. The seminar, organized by the National Biosafety Authority (NBA), aimed at increasing participants’ awareness about Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and their regulation in Ghana.
