PM Modi visited Paris from Denmark as part of his three-nation Europe visit. He also had extended meetings with the newly re-elected President of France, Macron, who was sworn in last week. The historical visit comes in the midst of the Ukraine crisis, which has brought much of Europe together in opposition to Russia. Additionally, the two leaders are likely to hold a meeting on how to ensure the halt of hostilities in Ukraine and lessen the conflict’s global economic implications.

As part of his European tour, PM Modi paid a visit to three nations including Germany, Denmark, and France to meet with his colleagues and take part in bilateral meetings. He also met with the Indian communities living there. According to diplomatic sources, the meeting between PM Modi and Macron days after Macron’s election triumph is very meaningful. It conveys a strong signal that the two leaders intend to make the Indo-French relationship a driving pillar of their foreign policy for the future ahead.
