In response to the continuing Russian military incursion in Ukraine, Pakistan sent a shipment of 7.5 tons of humanitarian aid to assist the Ukrainian people. The consignment included the essential non-military items, medicines and food supply. The C-130 aircraft departed to Ukraine to deliver the shipment in order to assist the war-ravaged nation. The media reported that a shipment carrying medicines, medical equipment, beds, and food supplies was sent immediately through a C-130 aircraft following the request of the war-hit country.

According to the media, the ministry instructed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to deliver the concerned non-military support sought by the Ukrainian embassy and organize its shipment. It had also sent a formal report to the prime minister requesting to deliver the assistance to Ukraine earlier.
